Jenny

Jenny’s lifelong passion for dogs, paired with her 40 years of ownership, drives her nurturing approach to training. As a certified yoga instructor and trauma-informed yoga teacher, she applies patience and flexibility to create well-adjusted puppies. Her family, including three children who assist in training, ensures puppies are accustomed to diverse interactions, fostering a consistent, loving environment.

Jory

Jory’s training journey began at 14, transforming an unruly puppy into a highly obedient companion. His expertise spans retriever hunt tests, field trials, and Arabian horse training, with accolades including Junior Hunter, Senior Hunter, and Master Hunter titles. An AKC Hunt Test Judge, Jory uses structured, reward-based methods to unlock each puppy’s potential, emphasizing socialization and progressive challenges.

Our Puppy Plus Training Program offers three tiers to suit your needs, each building foundational skills for Goldendoodles, Sheepadoodles, and Bernedoodles. Training begins on a Monday, and puppies must be picked up within one day of program completion. Late pickups incur a $50 daily fee. The program is not eligible for the payment plan.

• Commands: “No,” “Sit” (includes “Stay”), Name Recall, introductory “Here,” introductory “Place”
• Leash Manners: Introduction to walking politely
• Socialization: Exposure to public settings (e.g., stores, sporting events), children, and other pets
• Grooming: Continued familiarization with brushing and handling
• Crate Training: Hourly potty breaks to a designated spot, reinforcing quiet behavior and a safe space
• Reward System: Fetch-based rewards to encourage engagement

Includes all 2-week program elements, plus:

• Commands: “Down,” “Kennel,” “Head Down”
• Advanced Socialization: Increased exposure to public spaces and walking on lead with manners
• Manners: Introduction to doorway etiquette and not jumping on people

• Commands: “Shake,” “Knuckles,” or “High Five,” non-verbal “Sit,” “Here,” “Place,” “Break”
• Leash Manners: Refined walking and obedience
• Grooming: Advanced bathing and handling obedience

During training, Jenny and Jory provide regular updates via group chats on Instagram or text message, starting the first day of the program. These updates include progress reports and photos to keep you informed.

• Payment: Full payment is due before training begins. The program is not eligible for the payment plan.
• Pickup: Puppies must be picked up within one day of program completion. A $50 daily fee applies for delays.
• Liability: Utah Goldendoodles is not responsible for injuries or incidents during training, though all precautions are taken.
• Contract: A signed agreement outlining these terms will be provided before training begins.
• Refunds: No refunds are issued once training starts, except in cases of documented puppy health issues preventing participation, subject to veterinary verification.
